Participatory Musical Creation Workshop – “The Mushroom, the Bird and the Whale”

HK$500

Immerse your child in the world of participatory musical creation with the POTE Ensemble’s unique workshop based on “The Mushroom, the Bird and the Whale.” Designed to spark creativity and collaborative expression, this workshop introduces children to contemporary musical creation through an engaging and interactive performance. Over the course of an 8-minute, three-tableaux experience, participants will explore vocal games, object manipulation, and the sounds of nature, discovering the limitless potential of their voice to create, invent, and connect. Children will play with the mysterious name “Matzutake,” partake in dialogues of whimsical animals, and delve into Renaissance music inspired by birdsong, enhancing both their individual and group expression.

Hosted as part of the Festival POTE – Playing On The Edge, which unites musicians, artists, and audiences through deep listening and innovative collaborations, this workshop provides an enriching introduction to participatory music-making. Join us in a celebration of sound and creativity that bridges imagination with musical artistry.
